Shaun went to school in the military town of Warminster, and left with a good solid education when he wanted to joined the British Army as a junior medical doctor, following his mother’s profession in medical, after his last interview he joined the elite Parachute Regiment where he served 15 years also serving time in the elite Special Air Service; but I stress that I was never much of a soldier who wanted to kill my fellowman. The elite regiments I joined were the most racist in the world, only a hand full of Blacks ever complicated the hard training. One of the I reasons I joined them was to proved to myself and others that Colour did not matter in mans ability to overcome any situation, the army was a career that enabled me to travel and see the world, in 1980 I picked up my first camera and started to take images of life. From 1980 – 1993, I took photos of Army life and the many places I had traveled to. In 1993, I took retirement from the services and joined the Mail on Sunday as a photographer in London.
